- Won a cash award at the "SlowLife" photography contest to showcase the "Power of Plants". The photograph was displayed at the U.S. Botanic Garden, Washington D.C. in 2006 and Chicago Botanic Garden in 2007. This is part of the traveling exhibition, which will run through 2010.
